Or The Band RPF Connection, version 2: 504 Plan, All-American Rejects, Brand New, Cobra Starship, empires, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Mindless Self Indulgence, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, Straylight Run, Taking Back Sunday, The Academy Is..., The Cab, The Hush Sound, The Sounds, and The Used.
The Subset Bandom Connection is a guide of who's who and how they are interconnected within a subset of Band RPF fandom centering around three primary bands: Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and Panic at the Disco. Not all bands (or music artists) connected to these three bands will be included in this guide as that would mean a limitless list. Only those that have a crucial and/or at least three connections to the bands featured in this guide (504 Plan, All-American Rejects, Brand New, Cobra Starship, empires, Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes, Mindless Indulgence, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, Straylight Run, Taking Back Sunday, The Academy Is..., The Cab, The Hush Sound, The Sounds, and The Used) and/or are frequently mentioned within the fandom will be represented.
The Subset Bandom Connection is mostly bare facts I've gleaned from various official/unofficial websites, mcr_tourdiary, Panic at the Disco Timeline, Wikipedia, last.fm, various fandom primers, and various fen's store of band knowledge. This guide owes a lot to these fen. The first and second foremost being zaneetas who saw the flowchart through its first incarnation and was always willing to play "Spot The Used [Members]" whenever I needed and murklins who is one of the best betas ever - contrary to what she might claim - and whom I should probably credit as co-author if I didn't think she would kill me for doing so. Many, many thanks also go to: cyanei, dreadfulrauw, killxtoxbelieve, mimesere, quettaser, sparklingjadex, and various (anonymous and non-anonymous) others.
If you would like more detailed information on the bands represented here, please check their individual primers or Wikipedia entries. The photographs featured in this guide are pulled either from FueledByRamen.com's Bands section or from various promotional websites. The flowcharts were created with GenoPro software. If you spot any inaccuracies, please correct me, especially if I mislabeled the bands - or if you could help with matching band members to their group picture, please send me a caption! Or if you notice a gap of information and you can fill it, please learn me.
